Hafod Country House |
|
Hafod is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque fishing village of Cemaes Bay on the north west corner of the Island of Anglesey, in a rural setting, yet within easy walking distance of the village and sandy beach. Set in an acre of secluded gardens with superb sea and mountain views, Hafod is a spacious Edwardian house with comfortable bedrooms, a large elegant drawing room with books to browse, and a dining room with separate tables.
Close to Hafod, you will find safe swimming, sailing, sea fishing in the Bay, and spectacular country and headland walks. Our own garden has a wildlife pond and is a haven for many varieties of wild birds. Within five miles, we have the only working windmill in Wales, bird sanctuary famous for its Terns, fly fishing, an interesting 18 hole golf course (lessons can be arranged) and a leisure centre. A little further afield we can arrange horse riding and day trips to Dublin. How to Find Us Take the A5 over the Menai Straits bridge. Then the A5025 signed Amlwch. Go through Amlwch, then Bull Bay, Cemaes Bay is the next village. By pass the village, at the roundabout take the first exit signed Llanfechell. We are approximately ½ mile up this road on the left, opposite the renovated windmill. |
